Beaumont Police have found person of interest in murder of John Tomlinson

Police were looking for Joe Keith Johnson. He was last known to be in the area of Ave C and Crockett.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police Department detectives have found the person of interest they were looking for in the homicide of John Tomlinson.

Police were looking for Joe Keith Johnson. He was last known to be in the area of Ave C and Crockett, according to BPD.

Johnson also has an outstanding felony warrant for possession of controlled substance, police say.

Beaumont police are still trying to identify the man in the white shirt who we previously reported on. Police have already talked to the man in the yellow vest.
