BEAUMONT, Texas — With all the road construction that seems to be constantly happening as well as wrecks from time to time, driving in Southeast Texas can sometimes seem like a real pain in the neck.

JEFFERSON COUNTY – Saturday, Nov. 9- Interstate 10 west bound near Hamshire Rd. is impassable due to high water on the freeway. Interstate 10 is shut down in that area at this time. Highway 124, Highway 90 or Highway 73 are alternate routes.
The TxDOT Beaumont District plans, designs, builds, operates and maintains state roadways in Chambers, Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Newton, Orange, and Tyler Counties.
