BEAUMONT, Texas — Two inmates were discovered missing from the satellite federal prison camp in Beaumont Friday afternoon.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons notified the U.S. Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies that Salvador Garcia, 59, and Victor Luis Pescador, 56, were missing around 3 p.m. Friday, July 12.

Pescador was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2004 for possession with intent to distribute marijuana by the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Texas, Newman said.
