Police: 'Person of interest' in murder investigation was questioned, released

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police said a person of interest in a recent murder investigation has been questioned. 

Koy Wayne Dodd, also known as "Lil Koy," talked to investigators, was interviewed and released Thursday morning morning, April 25, Beaumont Police said in a Facebook post.

"Thank you for getting the message to him," police said. 

Detectives are still talking to other possible witnesses, police said.
