Brumley received a $20,000 bond and bonded out of jail on Saturday.
She had three charges; Engaging In Organized Criminal Activity, Deadly Conduct and Failure To Report A Felony With Serious Bodily Injury Or Result In Death.
Deputies charged DeBourgeois with the same three charges as well as Unauthorized Use Of A Vehicle and Unlawful Carrying Of A Weapon.
His bond sits at $77.500 and remain in the Jasper County Jail.
12News spoke with Christopher Spikes's father following the new developments in the case.
"This is the first step. Long time waiting, but it's good news," Spikes' father Donald said.
He says the family knew the the two suspects well.
"I coached Justin in Pee Wee football...Drea was over their every day," Donald said. "So, they were well known with us."
Spikes' father tells 12News it's difficult to fathom that these two are allegedly involved in this murder case.
"It's hard to see that they did that to him," Donald Spikes said.
On December 7, the Spikes family found their son's body laying in the woods just north of Jasper.
They used an app on their phone to locate the 22-year-old after he went missing for hours.
Deputies say Christopher Spikes' body was found with a gunshot wound to the back of his head.
"We have his 3-year-old child asking for him everyday, all through the day, 'where's my daddy,?' Donald Spikes said. "Then you have to explain to her that he's in heaven and she says she wants to go to heaven."
Spikes' father says the two arrests are progress, but he knows the road to justice continues.
"The criminals are still running wild and having fun while my son is laying in a cold grave, it hurts," Donald Spikes said.
Jasper County Sheriff Mitchell Newman says deputies are also searching for a third suspect in this case.
This is a developing story and 12News will continue to provide updates as we receive confirmed information.
