ORANGE COUNTY, Texas — Orange County detectives have arrested a man for the murder of a Southeast Texas mother, Casie Graves.
Orange County Detective Colton Havard confirms to 12News that Derek Lennon Bradley has been arrested for the murder.
Bradley was arrested without incident and was taken to the Orange County Jail. His bond has not been set yet.
The body of Graves, 38, was found Saturday, September 16, 2023, near the International Paper facility on North Highway 87 north of Orange.
Graves left behind four young daughters, the two youngest are under 6-years-old. Now, they are forced to grow up without their mother.
"I feel empty, I don't have any closure, I'm just lost, and broken, and sad. And I don't know where I go from here," said Vickie Graves, her mother.
Vickie Graves' heart is in pieces as she mourns the loss of her daughter.
"She's a great daughter, she has a very big heart. I thank God, that I got to see her Thursday," Vickie Graves said.
