BEAUMONT, Texas — People near I-10 and MLK in Beaumont spotted a small tornado as one of the feeder bands from Beryl came ashore.
Around 7:30 p.m. a small tornado was spotted near 11th Street and North Street as well as at MLK and I-10.
Our 12News Weather Impact meteorologists say small tornadoes like this are not uncommon in these outer bands of storms.
12News went to Burns Antik Haus on Calder Avenue near MLK around 8:00 p.m. There was minor roof damage and several windows that were knocked out.
Crews will have to board up the business before the next round of rain arrives.
