BEAUMONT, Texas — A southwesterly flow in the upper atmosphere will result in a warming and moistening trend this weekend across Southeast Texas ahead of a pattern change.
Low temperatures will rise to near 70 degrees by Monday, November 18 with highs around 80 degrees.
The first cold front will arrive late Monday with scattered to numerous showers and rain followed by drying Tuesday.
Late Tuesday, a potent trough of low pressure will then move south bringing a pattern change to the winds in the upper atmosphere which means winds will turn north.
This turning of winds will then push a Canadian cold front through Southeast Texas late Tuesday.
Wednesday, November 20 will be cooler and windy.
Thursday, November 21 through Sunday, November 24, below normal temperatures are expected as true fall arrives.
Three to four days of lows in the upper 30s to lower and middle 40s are forecast with highs in the 60s can be expected.
