HARDIN COUNTY, Texas — 12News has received numerous reports of damaging winds and thunderstorm activity in parts of Hardin County, including Silsbee and Kountze.
Entergy crews have restored power to almost 2,000 people since the storms moved through Monday afternoon.
Entergy's website said more than 4,200 were left without power just after the storms pounded homes in areas of the county.
No warnings are in effect for the area as of 9:30 Monday night.
Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect for Beauregard Parish in southwestern Louisiana and south central Vernon Parish in west central Louisiana until 7 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm warning was in effect for south Jasper and south Newton Counties due to winds of 60 mph and penny-sized hail until 6 p.m.
Damage has also been reported to the roof of Kountze Intermediate School.
