BEAUMONT, Texas — Severe weather and tornadoes made their way through the state Tuesday, bringing serious damage to parts of Southeast Texas.

Multiple Southeast Texas counties were under tornado watches and warnings. As the line of storms made their way across Texas, thousands were left without power.
For the safety of staff and students, numerous school districts ended classes early Tuesday. Some districts will resume normal class times Wednesday while others have canceled classes due to storm-related damage and power outages.
Here is a list of school districts that have canceled classes for Wednesday, January 25, 2023:
- Kelly High School in Beaumont
- Taft Elementary School in Port Neches
- Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD
- Orangefield ISD
- West Orange-Cove CISD
- Bridge City ISD
