BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police and firefighters were called to the scene of a major wreck involving an 18-wheeler along Interstate 10 near Laurel St. Wednesday afternoon.
The wreck, which happened at about 12:50 p.m., involved an 18-wheeler tanker and two other vehicles on westbound Interstate 10 according to a Beaumont Police Department spokesperson.
Traffic was diverted off of the interstate while officers and firefighters worked the wreck and during the clean up according to a Beaumont Police Department spokesperson.
The crash was cleared by 2:20 p.m.
Two people were sent to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
