BEAUMONT, Texas — A woman died in an accident on the west end of Beaumont on Thursday.
Beaumont Police responded to the accident in the 9200 block of College Street / Highway 90 at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14.
The preliminary investigation showed that a silver Toyota Scion was traveling northbound on Wooten Road and failed to stop at the intersection between Wooten Road and College Street, Beaumont Police said in a news release.
A white Ford pickup truck going eastbound on College street hit the Toyota Scion. The driver was taken to the hospital, but she later died from her injuries.
Beaumont Police identified her as Brenda Joyce Kea, 61, of Beaumont.
