BEAUMONT, Texas — Crews were called to two separate crashes on Highway 69 involving dump trucks on Tuesday afternoon.
Both crashes caused traffic trouble on Highway 69 south of Beaumont, happening almost in the same area.
Heavy smoke could be seen after the first crash happened around 2:30 p.m. not far from the jail.
The second crash happened around 4:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes.
Video taken after the earlier wreck shows a Jefferson County Sheriff's Office deputy rushing across the median to help the driver of the burning truck.
The dump truck driver was already out of the truck.
Beaumont Police Department are investigating. No details on injuries have been released.
