JEFFERSON COUNTY, Texas — I-10 eastbound has reopened near Taylor's Bayou after three separate traffic accidents on Monday evening.
Traffic was stopped for about four hours in Jefferson County south of Beaumont.
The first crash involved three vehicles according to a DPS news release.
The second crash involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle, with the third crash involving an emergency vehicle and a commercial vehicle according to the release.
Multiple injuries have been reported, but the extent is unknown according to DPS.
DPS found out about the crashes around 5:15 Monday evening.

At approximately 5:15p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) received a report of multiple crashes on Interstate 10, near Taylor’s Bayou, in Jefferson County.
At this time, DPS Troopers are investigating three (3) separate motor vehicle crashes on Interstate 10. The initial crash involved three (3) vehicles. The second crash involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle. The third crash involved an emergency vehicle and a commercial motor vehicle.
Multiple injuries have been reported; however, the extent of the injuries are unknown.
Motorists are urged to find an alternate travel route and stay alert for stopped or slow moving traffic in the area. Expect delays.
