Fatal motorcycle crash in Jasper County

According to DPS the Accord was turning left into a private drive when it was suddenly struck by the motorcycle.

JASPER COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal crash that happened on Farm-to-Market Road 1004 Tuesday night. 

The collision happened at around 9 p.m. between a Suzuki motorcycle that was traveling southwest, and a Honda Accord that was traveling northwest. 

The preliminary crash investigation shows that the Suzuki was traveling southeast, while the Honda was traveling northwest.

According to DPS the Honda was turning left into a private drive when it was suddenly struck by the motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, identified as 44-year-old David Williams of Buna, was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Justice of the Peace.
