ORANGE COUNTY, Texas — At around 8:00 a.m. Monday a dump truck overturned on Highway 87 at 1006.
The truck was turning onto 87 when it suddenly flipped and spilled it's contents across the highway.
The driver escaped with only minor injuries according to the Department of Public Safety.
For now, police have shut down 2 lanes southbound and northbound is being slowed do to the heavy haul brought in to move the vehicle.
The Department of Public Safety is currently working the accident along with the Orange Police Department , and Bridge City Fire.
