Driver flown to Kingwood hospital after ATV hits tree on private property in Jasper County Sunday

JASPER COUNTY, Texas — The Jasper County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a Sunday afternoon crash involving an ATV left a driver injured.

The Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department responded to a request from Allegiance Mobile Health - Jasper EMS for medical assistance following an ATV accident on County Road 120. The request for assistance came in shortly before 4:30 p.m. 

Beech Grove VFD responded with one engine and five firefighters.

When responding units got to the scene, they found the driver of an ATV was suffering from injuries after hitting a tree, according to a Beech Grove VFD release. At this time, it is unclear what led to the crash.

The patient was taken to Jasper County Bell Field Airport, where she was later flown to a hospital in Kingwood to get access to a higher level of care.

"Prayers for a safe flight and complete recovery of the patient," Beech Grove VFD said in a release. 

The accident happened on private property and is being investigated by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office.

From a Beech Grove Volunteer Fire Department release:

At 4:26pm BGVFD responded to a request by Allegiance Mobile Health - Jasper EMS for medical assistance with an ATV accident outside of our primary response and on CR 120.

Arriving units found one patient, the driver of the ATV, who was injured after colliding with a tree.

BGVFD rendered assistance and the patient was transported by EMS to the Jasper County Bell Field Airport where she was then flown by HCA Healthcare to a Kingwood hospital providing access to a higher level of care.

Prayers for a safe flight and complete recovery of the patient.

The accident occurred on private property and was investigated by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office.

BGVFD responded with one engine and 5 firefighters.
