BEAUMONT, Texas — Week four of the 2024 high school football season in Southeast Texas has West Brook High School visiting Silsbee High School.
This week the two and one West Brook Bruins head to Silsbee to take on the undefeated Tigers.
The bruins knocked off the Macarthur Generals on Friday 35 - 7 to give them back to back wins for the first time since 2021.
A big reason for that has been the play of sophomore quarterback Tam Anderson who rushed for three touchdowns in the first half against the Generals on Friday night.
Speaking of quarterback play. the tigers are three and zero on the season behind the play of their senior quarterback Micheal Moshier.
After going 12 and one and winning district last season, the Tigers were picked to finish third in district play this year.
Mostly due to returning only six starters from last year's squad.
It's safe to say the Tigers haven't seen it that way so far.
The Bruins and the Tigers kick off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Tiger Stadium.
Watch The Blitz every Friday night during the regular season at 10:20 p.m. on 12News.
