PORT NECHES, Texas — The PNG Cajun Classic got underway Thursday with plenty of dominating performances.
Out of seven matches played at The Reservation, six ended with shutouts.
Host Port Neches-Groves and Little Cypress-Mauriceville were the most impressive teams of the day, picking up two wins each.
The Lady Indians thumped Vidor 5-0 before blanking College Station 3-0 to wrap up the day.
Meanwhile the Lady Bears exploded for 15 goals in their two wins. LCM humbled Hamshire-Fannett 5-0, then pounded Port Arthur Memorial, 10-0.
