KIRBYVILLE, Texas — After nearly two months of searching, Kirbyville Consolidated Independent School District now has their new Athletic Director.
Previous Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Athletic Director for Daingerfield ISD, Seth Hubbard has been named the newest leader for Wildcat Athletics.
Hubbard comes from a family with a tradition of coaching.
His father, Donald Hubbard, had his own legacy of coaching in the State of Texas as he spent 18 years coaching at six different programs.
As for Seth, his coaching career can be traced back to several schools across the state like Tatum, Woodville, Alto, San Augustine and Tyler Chapel Hill before spending the previous three seasons with the Daingerfield Tigers.
In his time with Daingerfield, he helped bring three winning seasons to the program, with all three seasons winning more than ten games and playoff appearances.
In asking Seth about how Kirbyville Athletics will thrive under his mentorship, he said, "It's time to get to work and continue building all programs here at Kirbyville. Every young adult playing athletics across the board will be training in the offseason and preparing themselves to compete every game, every minute."
