Troy Sumrall III and his eight year old son Ashton were the big winners in the inshore gafftop division over the summer in the CCA Star Fishing tournament.
Sumrall won a new boat, motor and trailer with a catch of 7 lbs 8 oz., while Ashton won the StarKids Schlarship Gafftop division with a catch of 6 lbs 8 oz.
For his catch, Ashton won a $50,000 college scholarship.
The CCA Star Fishing tournament just completed it's 27th year and runs from Memorial Day through the Labor Day weekend.
