PORT ARTHUR, Texas — A restaurant in Port Arthur had a special guest this weekend.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott visited the Rodair Roadhouse in Port Arthur Saturday evening, Feb. 22.
"Look who stopped in tonight for some fried green tomatoes and our award winning chicken fried steak topped with our original chicken and sausage gumbo gravy!" the restaurant said in a post on their Facebook page. "Dak Prescott was in the house tonight! Nice guy!"
The restaurant's owner Richard Hudson also wrote a Facebook post about the visit.
"Dak Prescott, quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, stopped by the restaurant tonight," he said. "Great guy, very humble."
Prescott played college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs before being selected by the Cowboys in a 2016 NFL draft.
He became the Cowboy's starting quarterback after Tony Rom was injured in a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks in 2016.
Prescott is a native of Sulphur, Louisiana.
