WINNIE, Texas — The Orangefield Bobcats from the three point line were outstanding tonight.
Playing against their division rival, East Chambers, the Bobcats were able to cause disruption on their offensive side of the ball, while draining three's on their way to a good 46-32 win.
As it stands right now, thanks to this win over the Runnin' Bucs', Orangefield is now one game behind Kountze who sits atop the district.
The Bobcats and the Lions will meet one last time this season later this month, and as it shapes up right now, that could be a district championship deciding game.
On the flip side, East Chambers is now in a "win now or go home" mode.
East Chambers, sitting at 5-6 in district play, will head to Buna to face the Cougars. Because of the loss, Buna jumped the Bucs' in the standings as they sit at 6-5.
East Chambers still has three remaining games left in the season. The one against Buna, then they travel to Hardin to face the Hornets, and end the season at home against the Warren Warriors.
