12News has learned that former Beaumont Independent School District Superintendent Timothy Chargois is no longer a finalist for the chancellor position at Michigan's state-run district for low-performing schools.
Chargois was announced as one of four finalists for the position on Monday.
Authorities with the Education Achievement Authority of Michigan met Wednesday morning and narrowed the list of finalists, removing his name.
