SOUR LAKE, Texas — Owner of Roc's Coffee Shop, Rachel Rocquemore Bowie, says there are many customers she sees in a day, but one that stands out to her is William McKeon.
"Mr. Bill is so loving," she said. "He comes in here to get his coffee, his Texas pecans and his bottle of water."

Investigators say Officer McKeon was attacked and severely beaten outside a Sour Lake convenience store Monday night.
Rachel says the four-year veteran of the Sour Lake Police Department is witty.
When he leaves a room, everyone is smiling, but most of all, he has a good heart.
"When we're closed, Bill will come by here and let me know that he's come and he's checked and made sure we're secure," said Bowie. "He [is] just a wonderful person."
This is something the community can agree on.
"He's just the nicest guy you can meet," said Chamber Director Rebecca Gardiner. "He can be stern when he needs to be with his career. He's just fun and outgoing, really nice guy. "
Gardiner says this shook the entire community.
"We are shocked. We are a small town, a small bedroom community. Stuff like this just doesn't happen here."
Rachel and Rebecca say all prayers are needed for him right now.
They say they want to return the love that he gave to so many people.
"He's going to heal, and we're going to heal with him."
Roc's Coffee Shop will have a snow cone fundraiser from 2-6 on Thursday.
There is an account set up at the BBVA Compass Bank in Sour Lake to help the officer's family .
Checks can be made out to the William McKeon Medical Fund.
