The Tyler County Sheriff's Office is making arrangements for two people of interest in a drowning investigation to take lie detector tests.
The body of 26-year-old Melodie Fay Sexton was discovered by family members in Lake Charmaine, in the community of Ivanhoe, on Father's day morning, hours after she was reported missing.
Preliminary autopsy results show the Groves woman accidentally drowned, but family members believe foul play was involved.
Family members told 12 News HD that Sexton was found with a bloody nose and busted lip.
Sheriff David Hennigan says he hopes to have the polygraph tests complete in 2 to 3 weeks.
