Pinehurst police say juvenile may have stolen sports car and wrecked it in Orange neighborhood

Police found surveillance video of the car crashing and someone running away and abandoning the car in Orange

PINEHURST, Texas — Pinehurst Police are looking the person who stole a car and later crashed it. 

The vehicle was reported stolen on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 7:21 a.m. from the 3000 block of MacArthur Drive. The owner told police his 2015 Dodge Charger was taken while he was asleep and he had not given anyone permission to take his vehicle. 

Police later found the Dodge Charger in Orange, wrecked in the 1100 block of Fernwood Drive. Pinehurst police also released video captured on a home surveillance camera of the car being wrecked.
