A man is in custody after leading Beaumont Police on a chase early Saturday morning.
Investigators said the suspect drove off when police tried to make a traffic stop at East Lucas Drive and Pine Burr Boulevard.
It happened around 2:35 a.m.
Police chased the suspect around several neighborhoods in the North end of Beaumont before the suspect pulled over at a dead end off Landry Lane.
He was taken to jail and will be charged with evading arrest in a motor vehicle. He has two other warrants out from Harris county.
