BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police officers and firefighters are dealing with a multi vehicle wreck along westbound Interstate 10 near the downtown exit Wednesday morning.
Several vehicles appear to be involved in the wreck just before the MLK Pkwy exit. This includes a van and a pickup truck that ended up on their sides up against the outside median wall after they fell off of a fifth wheel trailer being pulled by a large pickup.
It is unclear at this time if anyone has been injured in the wreck that was reported just after 11 a.m.
Traffic along the westbound lanes are currently backed up for about a mile across the Purple Heart Memorial Bridge into Orange County.
