Two Smokers Express employees held at gunpoint during aggravated robbery in Orange

Both suspects face were covered. Once the suspects got the money from the register they left the store on foot

ORANGE, Texas — Orange Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Smokers Express.

The incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of 16th Street.

The two employees told police the men had their faces covered. One was wearing tan work coveralls or nomex with a white shirt wrapped around his face. The other suspect was wearing all black with his face covered with a black shirt.

In the release, once the employees complied with the suspects, the suspects left the store on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

Information: On November 30, 2019, at 8:38 P.M., officers were dispatched to 1050 16th Street, Smokers Express, in reference to a disturbance in the store. Upon arrival, officers met with the store employees. At that time, employees advised two black males entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded money. One suspect was described as a black male, of medium to dark complexion, wearing tan work coveralls or nomex with a white shirt wrapped around his face. The other suspect was described as a black male, wearing all black with his face covered with a black shirt. Once the employees complied with the suspects, the suspects left the store on foot with an undetermined amount of US currency. The investigation is ongoing
