JASPER, Texas — Two people were taken to the hospital after a two vehicle crash in Jasper.
Around 6:57 p.m. Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety and EMS responded to Highway 96 and FM 1005 in Jasper County near Mt. Zion Community for a major crash.
At the time of the call, one vehicle had rolled over and the other was still in the roadway.
The extent of the injuries of the two transported to the hospital are unknown at this time, according to Jasper County Sheriffs Office officials at the scene.
One lane was closed while first responders worked the crash. As of 8:15 p.m., all lanes are reopened.
