BEAUMONT, Texas — A motorcycle wreck led to the death of two people Saturday morning.
The wreck happened around 7:30 a.m. in the 400 block of S. 4th St.
The Beaumont Police Department says that Devin Moore, 26 of Orange and Shanice Richards, 28 of Beaumont were traveling north on 4th Street at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the motorcycle, causing them to hit a curb then crash into a fence. This resulted in both the driver and passenger being ejected.
Judge Ben Collins has ordered an autopsy.
