JEFFERSON COUNTY, Texas — Interstate 10 eastbound at FM365 has reopened following an early Tuesday morning crash.

A Mack truck tractor pulling two FedEx semi-tailors overturned on the highway at 7:25 a.m.

Troopers believe the driver was traveling east on Interstate 10 when he fell asleep and hit a concrete barrier on the right. The driver was identified as a 39-year-old man from Louisiana, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety release.

The truck tractor traveled across the eastbound lane and hit another concrete barrier on the left, then traveled back to the right side.

When the truck stopped, it remained in an upright position. However, the two semi-trailers it was carrying were turned over.

There were no injuries reported. Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are investigating the crash.
