BEAUMONT, Texas — After a fire destroyed a Jasper restaurant earlier this week, the eatery thanked the community in a Facebook post Wednesday afternoon.
Tia Juanita's Jasper location caught fire around 1 a.m. Monday morning according to fire officials.
"It has been a difficult week and our hearts are heavy. Most of you know that there was a terrible fire at the Jasper location and we are closed while we evaluate the situation," the post said.
The post thanked the community for the support.
"We thank you all for your support and appreciate all of the blessings and prayers. We will keep you updated," the post said. "Thank you Jasper and surrounding area!"

Tia Juanita's owner Ricky Martinez told 12News' partners at the Beaumont Enterprise he's unsure if they will rebuild.
"We have to see what the insurance is going to do, he said. "I don't know that we can rebuild at that location. It's so bad. You have to clear everything off and start over. We still might go back, but I don't know."
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Officials said the fire started near the kitchen and small dining room area.
No one was hurt in the blaze, firefighters said.
