Hardin County Judge Wayne McDaniel declared a disaster declaration for the county. There are many trees and powerlines down throughout Hardin County. Residents should not attempt to remove any trees from the road that may have power lines tangled up in them. Wait for Entergy to respond to those areas.
Citing an abundance of caution, Orange County Judge John Gothia, on Thursday morning, issued a disaster declaration for Orange County.
The declaration was issued for low lying areas in the county along the Neches and Sabine Rivers and urged residents to take precaution and prepare for potential flooding.
Beech Grove Fire Chief James Gunter says they have gotten multiple calls about trees that are down in Jasper County.
The Orange County Office of Emergency Management has announced the availability of sandbags for residents to use to protect their homes. Residents should bring their own shovels.

The McFaddin-Ward House has rescheduled the "USA vs Art Thieves: True Tales from the FBI's Real Indiana Jones" lecture due to the weather. The event will now be held Friday, May 17.
