BEAUMONT, Texas — The annual spirit of Halloween has made it's presence known in Southeast Texas as many businesses and organizations have announced their 'Spooktacular' events that range from ghost tours to fall festivals.
The events are free and open to the public which is a real treat for Southeast Texan's 'little monsters.'

BEAUMONT
- 10 a.m.-6 p.m.- Cruella's Halloween Party at the Fire Museum of Texas at 400 Walnut in Beaumont
- 4 p.m.- 7 p.m.- Trunk-or-Treat hosted by Main Event Beaumont at 5380 Rexora Drive
- 6 p.m.-9 p.m. - Free Haunted House at the Sterling Pruitt Activity Center at 2930 Gulf Ave in Beaumont
NEDERLAND
- 5:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.- Nederland Chamber Trunk-or-Treat on Boston Avenue
- 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.- Fellowship Church Trunk-or-Treat at 1315 S 27th St in Nederland
ORANGE
- 5 p.m. - Trick-or-treat at the Orange Public Library, Police Dept and Central Fire Station in downtown Orange at 220 N. 5th St
- 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. - Drive through Trick-or-Treat at 220 5th Street in Orange
- 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Child friendly haunted house at the Pinehurst VFD at 2497 MLK Dr
- 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Spooktacular at the Depot in Orange at 1210 Green Ave

NEIGHBORHOOD TRICK-OR-TREATS
If you prefer a more traditional door-to door neighborhood experience for trick-or-treating here's a few neighborhoods that have been known as good spots in past years.
Calder Place in Beaumont just off Calder Ave between 19th and 23rd Streets
The area in Beaumont around Phelan and Gladys including Bellechase and Edson Streets and neighborhoods on either side of Delaware St, including Ashton, Montclaire and Delaware Place.
The Willow Bend neighborhood off Major and Walden near the including the Brentwood Country Club. These streets include Walden Meadows, Willow Bend and Willow Creek.
Barrington Heights off of Dowlen and running behind the H-E-B on Dowlen can also be a good spot for trick-or-treaters.
Just north of Beaumont check out the neighborhoods off of Texas Highway 105 in Bevil Oaks and Northwest Forest.
In Orange County in the Little Cypress area try these neighborhoods that include Chasse Ridge, Bear Trails, Steeple Chasse & Chasse Hollow. You can also try the Dawnwood off Highway 87 and Hillbrook Estates off MLK.
In the Bridge City area try Waterwood Estates, off Highway 62, Dishon Plantations, behind the high school) and Colonial Estates, off FM1442.
In Orangefield check out Langham Estates, off FM105, west of FM1442 and Twin Lakes Estates, off FM105, east of FM1442.
