BEAUMONT, Texas — A popular mid-county seafood restaurant will be shutting down this week.
The announcement came on Monday evening when the owners, Tony and Stephanie Nguyen, posted on the restaurant's Facebook page that they would be closing immediately.
The owners announced their retirement and the closing in the post, which was made at about 5:40 p.m.
"It is with both great sadness and joyful tears that we announce our retirement after over 25 wonderful years in the service industry," the post read. "Our team and our community have been a tremendous part of our family."
The couple went on to apologize for the sudden closure and thanked their customers.
