PORT NECHES, Texas — Port Neches Police said a 16-year-old girl who had been missing since Saturday has been found and recovered.
Officers responded to a call from an area residence regarding a "runaway juvenile" on Saturday, January 21, 2023. The teenager was later identified as Katelyn Louvier, according to a Port Neches Police Department release.
There was a note left at the residence suggesting Louvier intended to return home. Police believe she left around midnight without permission.
Louvier has since been found.

On January 21, 2023, PNPD Officers responded to a local address in reference to a runaway juvenile. The juvenile, a 16-yr-old female named Katelyn Louvier, left the residence around midnight without permission. Katelyn is described as 5'1", 130lbs, black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black and red pajama bottoms. There was a note left expressing the intent to return. She is believed to be staying somewhere in the Mid County/Port Arthur area and investigators are working with other local law enforcement agencies to locate her.
