Police seize gun from Little Cypress-Mauriceville student's vehicle

The report was made to LCMCISD administration that a student at Little-Cypress Mauriceville High School had a firearm in their vehicle.

ORANGE COUNTY, Texas — Law enforcement responded to a report at Little Cypress-Mauriceville Consolidated Independent School District that a student had a gun in their vehicle.

The report was made to LCMCISD administration that a student at Little-Cypress Mauriceville High School had a firearm in their vehicle, according to a Facebook post from the district.

Police immediately responded and confiscated the gun from the vehicle, the district states.
