BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police Persons Detectives have located an Illinois man who got stranded in Beaumont.
Matthew James Hunt, 48, of Illinois was located around 8 a.m. Sunday morning, according to Beaumont police Officer Carol Riley. He is doing fine.
Previously, Hunt was last admitted and released from St. Elizabeth Hospital on July 19, 2024.
Hunt was described as 5'10" and weighs between 250-300 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
According to his family, he did not have a phone, money or a vehicle at the time he became stranded in Beaumont. They were concerned for his safety.
