JASPER, Texas — The Jasper Police Department is investigating the death of a 3-year-old boy over the weekend at The Park Apartments on Marvin Hancock Drive.
Police say that they believe the child may have drowned in the bathtub, but the official cause of death has yet to be determined.
Justice of the Peace Precinct #3 Mike Smith pronounced the boy dead and ordered has ordered an autopsy. Smith says that he saw no signs of bruising or trauma on the child.
