PINEHURST, Texas — Residents in the City of Pinehurst are no longer under a boil water notice.
The boil water notice began on Friday, October 28, 2022. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Pinehurst public water system to issue a boil water notice.
While under a boil water notice, residents are encouraged to boil water obtained from the public water system before using or drinking it.
The public water system has since then taken necessary actions to restore the quality of the water, according to a City of Pinehurst release. Officials have also provided TCEQ with laboratory test results indicating the water no longer needs to be boiled before use.
"The City of Pinehurst has worked diligently to correct the issue and is now resolved," officials said in a release.
