PORT ARTHUR, Texas — One man has been transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital for injuries after a crash on State Highway 73 in Port Arthur.
The call came in around 7:19 p.m., according to Port Arthur Fire Chief Benson.
Port Arthur Police Department, Port Arthur firefighters and City Ambulance responded to the scene. One person was taken the hospital and four others chose not to be brought to the hospital, according to Chief Benson.
The crash involved at least two cars.
The call came in as a person ejected but officers at the scene don't think the man was ejected, according to Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso.
The man was lying next to the vehicle when first responders arrived, but he was too close to the vehicle for it to be an ejection, Duriso told 12News.
