PORT ARTHUR, Texas — At least one person was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle with an elderly driver in Port Arthur on Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to the parking lot of Crystal Creek Apartments on Honeywood Trail after noon.
More than one person was hit by the vehicle, according to a 12News crew at the scene. An elderly driver's foot slipped off the brake, according to Guedry.
Detective Sadie Guedry with the Port Arthur Police Department said three people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The incident happened while people were waiting in line where during a food giveaway.
