BEAUMONT, Texas — Just in case you're planning a trip in the near future and are busy on weekdays, the Jefferson County District Clerk's office offers quarterly Saturday service in downtown Beaumont.
You'll definitely need an up-to-date U.S. Passport if you're planning on leaving the country.
Usually you can apply for your passport without an appoint at the District Clerk's office weekdays from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the second floor of the Jefferson County court house.
But, on four Saturday's per year, the office opens up to help those who may not be able to make it on a weekday.
This last quarter of 2024 has Passport Day happening on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Here's what you'll need to bring...
- Proof of citizenship such as a long-from birth certificate
- Photo identification
- Check or money order for fess payable to the U.S. Department of State
There are also fees to be paid to the District Clerk's office that can be paid via cash, check, money order or credit card.
Passport photos can be taken at the clerk's office if needed.
