A Texas man and a Florida man were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop Tuesday.
David Barona, 32, of Katy. and Ivan Link II, 27, of Tampa, Florida, were both arrested and charged with 'possession of a controlled substance' by deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office traffic enforcement division according to a release from the sheriff's office.
Barona was driving with Link as a passenger when Deputies pulled over their white Hyundai Sonata in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 for speeding the release said.
The pair appeared nervous and gave conflicting stories during the stop according to the release.
The men gave deputies consent to search the car and during that search deputies found six kilos of cocaine in the car.
Both men are currently free after each posted a $75,000 bond.
