BEAUMONT, Texas — The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) issued an Ozone Action Day for the Beaumont-Port Arthur area on Saturday.
On October 21, 2023 atmospheric conditions are expected to be good for producing high levels of ozone air pollution in the area.
Here are some ways you can help prevent ozone pollution:
- sharing a ride
- walking or riding a bicycle
- taking your lunch to work
- avoiding drive-through lanes
- conserving energy
- keeping your vehicle properly tuned
