Orange County first responders pose in 'Texas Strong' photo shoot

Houston-area photographer Brian Anderson wanted to recognize first responders with a photo shoot for all the work they do.

ORANGE COUNTY, Texas — Orange County first responders have come together for a "Texas Strong" photo shoot amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Dozens of first responders gathered to take a memorable photo at the Orange Expo Center at 9:45 a.m. Thursday.

Houston-area photographer Brian Anderson wanted to recognize first responders with a photo shoot for all the work they do.

"He's doing free photo shoots in different areas across the state of Texas to just recognize police officers, firefighters, EMTs, medical personnel in the hospitals and such for the work that everyone does with the natural disasters and again with the COVID-19 issue and everything else going on," said Pinehurst Police Officer Kevin Norton.

Anderson contacted an administrator for Klein ISD to speak with officials, so they could set up the photo shoot, according Norton.

Chairman Dade Phelan along with AT&T provided lunch for 100 first responders at 11 a.m.

The photographer said he doesn't charge for this work, and each first responders will be able to download free copies of the photo.
