PORT ARTHUR, Texas — A one-year-old baby has died and her mother was injured after they both were thrown from a vehicle when it rolled over.
Port Arthur police responded to the rollover wreck on Highway 73 just before 7 p.m. Friday evening.
According to family on scene, one female was taken to a hospital by helicopter, and a baby was transported by ground after two people were trapped in the car.
The mother was flown to UTMB hospital in Galveston.
Other occupants of the vehicle were not injured according to Judge Burnett.
There were six people inside the car according to Chief Tim Duriso.
