Two arrested in Beaumont robbery case, one more suspect still at large

Detectives believe that all three suspects could be involved in multiple violent crimes in Beaumont spanning the last several months.

Three suspects are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred last week.

The robbery took place in the 500 block of Dowlen Road on August 17, police said.

Derrick Dwayne Henry, 21, of Beaumont, one of the suspects, was taken into custody on Tuesday, August 21 at about 4:30 p.m.

Jameldryn Jerome Wilridge, 18, was arrested around 9 p.m. the same day.

Beaumont Police are still searching for one more suspect, Greyson Deandre Leday, 19.

Detectives believe that all three suspects could be involved in multiple violent crimes in Beaumont spanning the last several months.

"What we're seeing is that there's a very small percentage of people that are committing a lot of the crimes that we are seeing," Beaumont Police spokesperson Haley Morrow said at a press conference.

Morrow said that additional charges are expected to be filed against all three.

"Our detectives are working tirelessly to investigate each case, but what we're seeing is the bigger scale—that a lot of these are connected, and a lot of them involve the same people."

Morrow said the suspects are believed to have committed numerous violent crimes and felonies and are considered dangerous.

Anyone with information about Leday or Wilridge is asked to call Beaumont Police at (409) 832-1234 or 911.
